I agree the location remarks were weird. Big deal I thought the environment was as good as any other and the staff was nice.

My family and I just moved to Washington and looked online for a good salon near by. I saw only good reviews about this place and thought this is where I need to go! I scheduled an appointment with Juanita to color my hair red. Yes red! And to make it worse my hair is past my waist! She was very professional and asked exactly what I wanted and what she could do to match the color I wanted. She spent three hours but in the end it was perfect! Better than what I expected. During the three hours I had fun talking with her and the staff. They were very friendly! I will definitely make this my salon from now on! Thank You Juanita!!!:)

I came to Studio J after a bad hair cut that I received from a so called high end salon in town. Knowing that I was a little scared after my last cut JoAnn took the time to talk to me, to find out what I was unhappy with. Then she took 3hrs to get the dark brown/black box color out and get my hair back to its natural color. To me this lady worked some hair color miracle on my hair and for that I am impressed! Besides her skiills i also loved the staff and enviroment that Studio J has.

Diana you are out of your element. Please stop complaining about JoAnn. She is awesome and so is her salon. I don't know what you want to achieve but Joann and the ladies of Studio J are professional and friendly and do their best to give the client the best experience.
JoAnn has cut and colored my hair for over 2 years and I go to the shop one to two times a week as I like them to do my hair. There is not one complaint on here but yours. I can't help to think that you would not be happy anywhere but stop making JoAnn the scapegoat. Grow up and accept that your hair had a problem at another salon and you chose to go somewhere else and see if someone could help you. Your lucky that Joann got you in and at least tried to help you,, (be grateful for that). Leave JoAnn and Studio J. alone.

Excuse me, Eden, I was totally new to this salon. This was MY experience at this salon with Joann, never met her before, I have NO reason to fabricate or lie about what has happened to me! Please accept my truth and that I was actually treated less than maybe you that day by Joann!! I am a customer who has been wronged and Joann chooses not to accept responsibility for her actions, telling a customer lies just so she make money! Eden you were not there, so I don't see how you can discount what happened to me that day!

I have no idea what this Diana person is talking about below, JoAnn is the BEST!! I have been a customer for almost 8 years and I never consider trusting anyone else with my hair. JoAnn does my color and cut regularly. She's educated on the latest in hair healthy products and cutting technics. Many times, I've asked for her advice on something new and she gives me the straight scoop, sometimes advising me against doing something because she's looking out for me. She's a true professional in her industry. I highly recommend JoAnn and her salon!

Joann McCollum, owner and so called color specialist, what a nightmare!! She ruined my hair! She was nice at first, but became totally abusive to me!! I was the only one in the salon. She knew she ruined my hair and denied it was breaking off all over!! She was supposed to correct another stylists mistake and just made it worse! She lied to me saying her product would make it healthier and shinier and it is the opposite, it continues to break off since my horrible experience in Joann's chair last Saturday! I have been devastated by what she has done and how she treated me during the appt. I asked for my money back and she said NO! Is that customer service, you damage my hair and you won't at least refund me?! I am well known in Pierce County, so I tell everyone not to go to this salon!!
